MIAMI–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Edward de Valle II, president and CEO of AMG Worldwide (AMGW), recently hosted the company’s fifth annual Black Ball. This year’s highly anticipated Black Ball, dedicated to AMGW clients and friends, took place at the future site of Coconut Grove’s newest restaurant, The Ivy at the Grove and Raffles Private Membership Club.

More than 800 distinguished guests were given an exclusive preview to The Ivy at the Grove, which is scheduled to open mid-November. Among the many guests in attendance were real estate mogul Jorge Perez and his wife, Darlene; Joel Cruzada, a partner at My House Productions; Ben Aubin, manager of Lauryn Hill; and Kiah White, who is a celebrity stylist to musicians such as rap artist, Armando Christian Perez, better known by his stage name, “Pitbull”.

This year’s affluent gala was also co-hosted by Jessie Alexander of The Best of South Florida and sponsored by the Ivy at the Grove and Raffles Private Membership Club. The night featured Luca Luca’s Spring Fashion line and cocktails provided by Svedka. The Jason Taylor Foundation was brought on board as the official charity for the night, in which Edward deValle personally donated $2,000 to the Foundation.

“I was extremely excited to have all of my friends, family and business leaders together at this very special place, The Ivy at the Grove and Raffles Private Membership Club. This was the best Black Ball yet, mostly due to the fact that we were able to contribute to the Jason Taylor Foundation and impact the lives of so many children that the Foundation serves,” says Edward deValle. “I look forward to hosting more charity events like this one, on a more frequent basis, as well as next year’s Black Ball, which will take place sometime in May 2010,” adds deValle.
